DMACK Plans Sport Expansion With Own Manufacturing Facility

Global motorsport tyre brand DMACK has agreed terms to open its own tyre manufacturing facility in Italy, allowing it to expand into other motorsport disciplines. For the first time in its 10-year history, the British firm will have total control of its production after an agreement with Marangoni will see it use part of the Italian manufacturer’s facility in Rovereto, northern Italy.

Apollo Tyres, the leading tyre maker, which has been going the distance with its sponsorship of the top English Premier League brand, Manchester United, over the last five years, has now roped in Sachin Tendulkar, one of the greatest cricketing icons of the world, as its brand ambassador for a period of five years. This is the first time that the company has associated with a celebrity as the face of its brand.

TyreSafe, the UK’s tyre safety charity, is launching a new awareness campaign aimed at all those parent chauffeurs taking their children to swimming, music lessons, drama, dance, football, karate and the innumerable other activities they enjoy. By the time their child is 20, they are likely to have spent over 3,000 hours driving them around - that’s 125 days non-stop motoring.


Tomato Tyres take Yokohama to Comet Car Hire

Buckinghamshire based distributor, Tomato Tyres, has secured an important fleet agreement to supply specialist aviation logistics company, Comet Car Hire (CCH), with the recently launched Yokohama BluEarth RY55 van tyre for its fleet of Mercedes vans, minibuses and people carriers.
